Culture Hub Poland – Polish Cultural Center Foundation with its registered office in Warsaw (00-158), at 8 Nalewki Street, KRS: 0000741987 (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation), applies the principles of personal data protection resulting from generally applicable regulations, including the GDPR. Please read the information below.
For what purposes does the Foundation process personal data?
1. Newsletter
The Foundation processes personal data in order to regularly send information about the Foundation's activities to persons who have agreed to receive the newsletter.
2. Conducting recruitment for the Foundation's programs, training courses and webinars
Personal data are processed for the purposes of recruitment for programs, training courses and webinars implemented by the Foundation.
3. Recruitment and provision of legal assistance
Personal data are processed for the purpose of organizing recruitment and providing free legal assistance as part of legal advice organized by the Foundation.
What is the legal basis for processing personal data?
1. Newsletter
The legal basis for the processing of personal data for the purpose of sending the newsletter is the consent of the person who subscribed to the Foundation's mailing list (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a of the GDPR). Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to receive the newsletter.
2. Conducting recruitment for the Foundation's programs, training courses and webinars
Personal data are processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR), i.e. for the purpose of carrying out activities aimed at concluding a contract, undertaken at the request of the data subject.
This processing is necessary to participate in the recruitment process; failure to provide data will result in the inability to participate.
3. Recruitment and provision of legal assistance
The legal basis for the processing of personal data in connection with recruitment and the provision of free legal assistance within the Foundation's programs is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – processing necessary to take action at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract. Providing personal data is necessary to participate in the recruitment process and to receive free legal assistance. Failure to provide personal data will prevent you from participating in the recruitment process and benefiting from the support offered.
What rights do you have in relation to the processing of personal data by the Foundation?
In connection with the processing of your personal data by the Foundation, you have the following rights:
- the right to access personal data, including the right to obtain a copy thereof (Article 15 GDPR);
- the right to rectify (correct) dataif they are incorrect or incomplete (Article 16 GDPR);
- the right to delete personal data – in the cases provided for in Article 17 of the GDPR;
- the right to limit data processing – in the cases provided for in Article 18 of the GDPR;
- the right to transfer personal data, i.e. receiving them in a structured, commonly used format and the right to transmit them to another controller if the processing is based on consent or a contract and by automated means (Article 20 of the GDPR);
- the right to withdraw consent – to the extent that data are processed on the basis of consent; withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal (Article 7(3) of the GDPR);
- the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO), if it is found that the processing of data violates the provisions of the GDPR (Article 77 of the GDPR).

Recipients of personal data – to whom may the Foundation disclose personal data?
1. Newsletter
Personal data provided for the purpose of receiving the newsletter is transferred to the entity providing technical services related to sending emails. This entity is UAB Sender.lt, with its registered office at Žalgirio Street 114, LT-09300 Vilnius, Lithuania – the owner of the Sender.net website, used for the technical management of the Foundation's mailing list.
2. Conducting recruitment for the Foundation's programs, training courses and webinars
Personal data provided for the purpose of participating in recruitment for programs, training courses and webinars may be transferred to an accounting firm and law firms serving the Foundation.
If you qualify for the programs, your data may also be shared with entities providing services necessary for their implementation, such as airlines, insurers or hotels.
3. Recruitment and provision of legal assistance
Personal data provided for the purpose of recruitment and providing free legal assistance as part of legal advice organized by the Foundation may be transferred to Dr. Aleksandra Sewerynik, an accounting firm, and to law firms providing services to the Foundation.
How long will the Foundation process your personal data? Data retention period and rights.
1. Newsletter
The data provided for the purpose of sending the newsletter will be processed by the Foundation until you withdraw your consent to receive messages.
2. Conducting recruitment for the Foundation's programs, training courses and webinars
Data provided for the purpose of participation in recruitment for programs, training courses and webinars organized by the Foundation will be processed for a period of 5 years, unless applicable law or special circumstances require longer storage.
3. Recruitment and provision of legal assistance
Personal data relating to recruitment and the provision of legal assistance as part of the Foundation's advice will be processed for the time required to achieve these purposes.

Changes to the privacy policy
The Culture Hub Poland Foundation – Polish Cultural Center reserves the right to make changes to its Privacy Policy. Each new version will be published on our website along with its effective date. Using the website after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. In the event of significant changes, the Foundation will make every effort to notify users appropriately.
